VALLEY FORGE CHAPTER
Valley
Forge Chapter #214 of PWP was established in 1967. We provide a varied and balanced
program of educational and social
activities for our members. In addition, we are especially proud of our program of family activities, which has been recognized by PWP International
as one of the best Family and Youth Programs among all PWP chapters of similar size.
The
chapter holds bi-monthly orientation meetings for SINGLE PARENTS interested in joining and
for new members. Information on how to join PWP is provided elsewhere
on this site.
Through
its fund-raising activities, the group provides subsidies for the family activities and
scholarships to our member children.
Our activities are often planned for members with specific interests, of particular age groups, or in particular geographic areas. However, except for the three-part Newcomers Series, all events, including Family and Youth events, are open to all members at all times. With a few exceptions, reservations are required for all events.
